BASIC & ADVANCED WHOLE FOODS / MACROBIOTIC COOKING COURSES |
Cooking with Sahaja is
such an eye-opening, fun-filled, nurturing experience. Sahaja
creates such a peaceful, calming environment to be in, and
her amazing knowledge of foods is just what I was looking
for. I found learning how to cook with whole foods, opened
a new level of life-giving energy for me. Sahaja has shown
me how easy it is to get back to basics, and how good healthy
organic food can make me feel. I would recommend this cooking
class to anyone and everyone, regardless what life path you
are living, it is an investment to good living, and I know
you will not regret it!

This is what I learned
from the last cooking course. 1. Healthy
food doesn't have to be boring or bland. 2.Simple,
easy, tasty and nutritional recipes. 3.Fun
sharing with likeminded people. 4. Lots of
interesting cooking tips along the way that you don't get
from just reading a recipe book. 5. You feel
so nourished and have more energy when you start to introduce
new eating habits from the macrobiotic and whole foods way
of eating. 6. Clearer understanding of beans,
pulses and legumes. I absolutely loved attending the classes
and looked forward to them each week, and as a consequence
I couldn't NOT attend the Advanced Course.

Words are
unable to describe how grateful I am for the wonderful cooking
classes over the past 6 weeks - I have learned more than I
could ever have imagined and had a great time as well! I have
given a copy of the recipes to my mother and sister in Adelaide
& Sydney and they can't stop thanking me.

I am really keen to learn
as much as possible about healing with macrobiotics and I
find it very easy to relate to this way of living as it just
seems so logical. I have tried lots of different diets and
treatments over the years, but I seem to connect with this
really well and have really enjoyed cooking the food and the
courses. I just learned so much.

Wanted to thank you for
the experience and learning of your cooking classes. This
way of eating/cooking is one of the essential things that
was missing from my life. The one aspect of breadmaking seems
like a whole new dimension of possibilities and learning.
Thank-you for helping to open up these neglected places.

FROM SAD TO GLAD
- 12 weeks
SAD = Standard Australian Diet, GLAD = Great Life Australian Diet |
The support
of working in a group has been extremely helpful/encouraging.
The recipes and ideas have been fantastic - the broad range
of food has left no room for boredom. Overall, the course
has given me the inspiration to stick to my truth and follow
the needs of my body rather then the cravings of my mind.

There
is no pressure to conform. I am allowed to go at my own pace.
At first I was worried I wasn't doing it all 100%. Now, I
embrace the fact I am doing it in my own way and my own time.
These kinds of changes are more lasting and I now feel as
though macrobiotic food is part of my life.

The sharing of experiences
has been really impactful and memorable and humbling.

Really enjoying
the meals and being comforted by the fact that macro/vegan
can really taste good, if not better than traditional meals....Thank
you for introducing happiness back into my life.

What
did I benefit from? Helpful to hear other people's experience.
The recipes are easy to follow. A shopping list, theory on
energy, yin/yang, acid/alkaline and practical cooking experience.
|
|
The encouragement from others
was a benefit to stick at it and lose weight. I enjoyed the
aspect of sharing - cooking and eating together with people
who have similar ideas about diet.

I found the
wide range and yummy food made me excited to come back each
week and gain more confidence in exploring different foods.
